A WORD ABOUT VARIATIONS AND PROTOTYPES
As with many patches that are made, prototypes and variations are produced, for
example, for the Everglades Squad patch, there are 6 different prototype
patches, each with different color schemes and fading variations. It's all part
of the process.
Some are ONE of a kinds, some have very very limited runs (Under 10) So if your
looking for prototypes... GOOD LUCK! Most will be damn near impossible to get.

top reads "LEGIO FUNDATOR", Latin for Legion Founder and the bottom "VADER'S FIST" A few words from Albin .... "Some background on this: it occurred to me
while in Europe that it is a very special experience for me to meet
troopers from all over the Legion. The one thing I feel let-down by is not
having something to hand out like the pins the UKG handed out saying "I
trooped with the UKG". While I hope to have those pins handy some day, it
prompted me to come up with what the pin would have on it. That's when it
occurred to me to try and fashion a Founder's Logo.

After this was done for the German patch ……. The design was adopted for the
501st
patch. After that was the German patch redesigned By same guy. and that´s the design used from then on.
The v2 was made with cut edges and no marrowing ... but nobody I know
has that one!!! :) No Marrowing
